Originally from Acton, MA, Sofia Goorno is a New York City based actor, singer, and writer. She is a current student at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she is studying Acting and Creative Writing. Sofia completed her primary acting training at the Meisner Studio. She recently completed the Stanislavski, Brecht, & Beyond Actor Training Program in Berlin, Germany. In her final year at Tisch Drama, she will be attending The Classical Studio.
Recent theatrical credits include Twelfth Night (Olivia), The Chekhov project (Nina/Liubov), & U.S. Drag (Allison) at NYU Tisch’s Meisner Studio.
Recent film projects include Right to Privacy directed by Julie Herlocker (winner of best short film at the Fairhope Film Fest), and the upcoming independent film Lottie Baby, which has garnered support from A24, Paramount Pictures, and NBCUniversal.
